Work with us

We will soon have vacancies for
Bloom Workshop Leaders

We are looking for several new enthusiastic and experienced freelance staff to help deliver outdoor nature sessions to inner London schools from November 2023. This is a paid role at a competitive day rate. We are running about 50 workshops over the year, with exact dates to be confirmed. Each workshop requires two people; our objective is to create a team of staff, drawing on members as required. You will be enthusiastic about inspiring young people with a love for and appreciation of nature, have an interest, appreciation and ideally some knowledge about nature, be experienced working with children, preferably in an outdoor setting and have an interest in a reflective approach to being in nature.

 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

About us

Our vision is that all young people may have the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with nature. We formed Bloom, a Community Interest Company, to fulfil this vision by offering schools fully funded outdoor workshops which engage, inform and inspire young people to enjoy being in nature rather than in front of screens. We also run Holiday Nature Club sessions for local children.

We are currently being funded by the London Legacy Development Corporation to deliver these workshops to KS2 and KS3 pupils in schools close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) where we run the sessions, although we may run some sessions within a school’s own grounds. The Holiday Nature Club also takes place at QEOP. There may also be the opportunity to work in other parts of London.
