Bloom believes that learning from nature can transform young people’s lives
In the turmoil of a social media-driven world, young people rarely have the chance to stop and connect with the living world around them. Our mission is to redress this imbalance by providing the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature. Our programmes and workshops inspire young people to care for the world around them, help them gain a broader perspective and discover tools for living well.
We explore key themes that are seen in nature including: interdependence, diversity, cycles, health and harmony and look at how these apply to our everyday lives.

The Seven Harmony Principles
The aim of the Bloom approach to education is to promote harmony between people and between people and the natural world.

‘There’s no need to isolate us teenagers by constantly berating our digital habits… Instead, provide opportunity and space for us to explore, and give us an education system that acknowledges the natural world as our greatest teacher.’
Dara McAnulty, Diary of a Young Naturalist
