The Bloom Approach
We work with secondary school teachers and their students to relate insights from the natural world into
everyday living. By seeing, hearing and feeling how nature works, we can teach essential principles for living which promote positive well-being
We give you a chance to explore, engage with and enjoy nature from a totally new point of view, through 7 inspiring, fundamental principles of nature. Our programmes, for either the KS3 English or PSHE curriculum, are designed to be teacher friendly, providing you with all you need and leaving plenty of space for creativity too!
HOW OUR PROGRAMMES ARE IMPLEMENTED
Use the Bloom method to deliver our programmes. Each lesson takes you on a journey, first alerting your senses to nature around you in the here and now – (which is perfectly possible in the classroom!), through the deep study of a text or poem, or topic in PSHE, shining light on the material through the lens of 7 principles drawn from nature.
IMPACT: HOW STUDENTS BENEFIT
Students benefit by using the 7 principles to explore texts and dive into topics. Skills like oracy, comprehension and analysis are strengthened. And students benefit personally as they come to understand they are not separate from but connected to nature and the rest of the world.
